Showing the basic uses of smartphones and tablets and associated apps for communication, leisure, school learning, time management, self-regulation and self-determination and other areas of interest, as well as tips on setting up and protecting these devices. All this, in an easy going way, designed to introduce the enormous possibilities that technology provides to people with autism.
Course in video format which over 52 weeks presents 52 apps in depth. Especially suitable for people with autism. Each app not only explains its functionality but also several practical scenarios are shown with recommendations and tips on how to configure and use it in the best way. Additionally, every month, a "webinapp" will be held, i.e. a webinar in which even more ideas are provided and questions from the audience will be answered.

It is a course carried out with animated infographics, aimed at professionals and families of people with disabilities, in which concepts related to person-centered intervention are introduced in both the educational field and the field of community participation.
Driven by the Orange Foundation and the Autonomous University of Madrid and taught on the UAM's online training platform, this 4-month course is the most comprehensive training available today on the use of technology for people with autism.
With theoretical and practical content, the course consists of 16 units ranging from related concepts to the use of mobile devices for research in the field of autism technology.
The course focuses basically on apps, but not forgetting other platforms such as computer programs, web pages, touch screens, whiteboards... nor the latest in robotics or wearable devices.
The materials have been developed by a team of 25 professionals who are experts in autism and technology, and students who pass the evaluation tests obtain a UAM certificate.
