Driven by the Orange Foundation and the Autonomous University of Madrid and taught on the UAM's online training platform, this 4-month course is the most comprehensive training available today on the use of technology for people with autism. With theoretical and practical content, the course consists of 16 units ranging from related concepts to the use of mobile devices for research in the field of autism technology. The course focuses basically on apps, but not forgetting other platforms such as computer programs, web pages, touch screens, whiteboards... nor the latest in robotics or wearable devices. The materials have been developed by a team of 25 professionals who are experts in autism and technology, and students who pass the evaluation tests obtain a UAM certificate.
